Ricardo is the founder of the sustainability project, 1 Camera 1000 smiles and Urban Artistry photography .
He cut his teeth in newspapers and was originally drawn to photography when he realised this was the medium in which he could not only unshackle his creative abilities but could tell stories of the human condition.
As a former teacher of photography at NMIT he bequest to his students a compassion and deep regard for their subject matter.
His works have been widely published and exhibited.
